The new Wharfedale Xpect series is built to last longer and outwit the performance of the Impact series. The Xpect Series is built for portability, to last longer, and to outsmart the Impact series. The Xpect series has a more durable physical outlook that features the renowned birch wood, unlike the Impact series that comes in a particle board physical outlook. The Xpect Series has a desirable high power capacity and clarity, 700W RMS (2800W peak) of power is produced, spanning down to a 40Hz low-end. For high frequency, a 1.75" titanium diaphragm compression driver produces a powerful yet neutral sounding high end. Both the HF and 2 x 15” LF drivers have been newly developed for this loudspeaker series, engineered and acoustically matched to an extremely durable MDF cabinet.
