Protection
Front panel LED’s give immediate and clear feedback to the situation. Should an external fault occur, the red LED ‘Fault’ light will illuminate and the amp will go into Protection mode. A rear-panel ‘Reset’ button is then available to reset the amplifier once the external fault has been diagnosed and removed.Handy ‘Clip’ LED’s are also visible from the front panel. Even from a distance, its simple and clear to see and understand the status of the amp.
A look behind the scenes
Around the back is also the input sensitivity switch selectable between 0.775v or 1.4v.
The main ‘Bridge / Stereo / Parallel’ mode switch is also on the rear. STEREO mode makes the two channels work independently. CH1 input signal goes to CH1 output and CH2 signal goes to CH2 output. BRIDGE mode makes CH1 input signal go to the BRIDGE output socket. This is controlled by using the CH1 volume control. PARALLEL mode makes CH1 input signal go to both CH1 and CH2 output sockets. The input socket of CH2 has no effect. The channel volumes can be adjusted independently.
